The Terrace Tent along with the fire pit and extensive lawn area are perfect for corporate picnics or can be used as a separate space for a much needed lunch break or late afternoon happy hour after your meeting in the ballroom.
The Manor House is the perfect setting for more intimate meetings, retreats and brain storming sessions.

River Stone Manor is a full-service venue where we place a huge priority on our couples and on taking the stress out of planning that dream wedding.
Planning your wedding is a process. You can expect an initial meeting where we will give you a tour of our beautiful property and venue. We will go through all of our packages and the many options available to you here at River Stone Manor and we will answer any questions you may have.

After booking your wedding with River Stone Manor we will lead you through the selection process and help you put together a ceremony and reception that represents your dreams for the day.
Choosing a full-service venue means you do not need to be concerned with details such as setting up tables and chairs, shopping vendors for linens and cakes or finding the right caterer. It is all right here. We provide everything you need to host a fabulous event and with our Executive Chef on staff the food is always prepared on premise with impeccable attention to detail. Leaving you more time for the fun stuff like dress shopping, planning floral and special décor, finding that perfect first home and celebrating with family and friends.

We will take your wedding planning journey with you from that initial tour to the wedding day.
On the day of your event you can expect quality service from our trained professional staff and assistance throughout the day. From the time, you arrive on our property, during the ceremony and reception to assisting with packing up at the end of the night as you prepare to depart and begin your life as husband and wife we strive to make your experience joyful, memorable and remarkable for you and your guests.


Have Your Cake, and Eat It Too!

Planning a wedding can come with a lot of stress. Here at the River Stone Manor we want to take some of that stress away from you by eliminating one of the many vendors you will need to research. Wedding cakes are included in all of the River Stone Manors Wedding Packages. But how does it work? The River Stone Manor works with two of the areas best bakeries for all of our cakes and desserts: Villa Italia and Gourmet Confections. If you booked your wedding at the River Stone Manor, we would refer you to a contact at one of these bakeries. At your convenience, you would set up a meeting at the bakery to discuss the flavor and decor of your cake. The River Stone allows a budget of $3.25 per person. Based on the design of the cake and the flavor you and your fiancé choose. You pay us, we pay the bakery. Piece of Cake! Our vendors also work with couples who prefer an non-traditional approach to dessert. Instead of a cake , think about offering Cupcakes, pies or pastries. So you want to plan an event at the River Stone Manor? Great!

We would love to have you. If you never have planned an event before , organizing the details could be overwhelming. Where do you start? What questions do you need to ask? We are here to help you every step of the way so we have put together a list of questions to ask yourself before you give us a call. .

Five details to organize before calling your event planner

1. How many guests are you anticipating inviting for your event?
It is estimated that about 10% of the guests invited will decline your invitation for one reason or another. If you are planning on inviting 200 guests to your event, you can plan on 20 of them not showing up. Of course there are exceptions to every event. We would love it if all of your guests attended but realistically it might not happen. The set up, price and food may all be affected from giving your event planner an incorrect count.

2. What is your preferred date?
There are a lot of things you have to think about when selecting a date. The weather can be a large deciding factor in New York if you are planning to use our outdoor facility. Also the day of the week can affect your price. A better price can be negotiated for an event held on a week day rather than a week night or weekend. If you have a lot of guests traveling from out of town you may want to select a weekend date. Whatever date you choose, chose wisely because it can largely affect the success of your event.

3. What type of food would you like to be served?
Are you considering a buffet meal or a plated dinner? We have all types of options. We often customize packages to design your menu around your favorite foods. Let us know what you options you were considering.

4. What time of day do you wish to hold your event?
Receptions at the Manor are usually 4 hours long. Your event can be scheduled any time of the day as long as a conflicting party is not already booked. We need at least two hours in between events to reset our ballroom/tent. We can host multiple parties on property at the same time. Breakfast menus, lunch and dinner options are available. We also have hosted brunches and after hours events. If the time you wish to book is not available we also cater off premise!

5. How would you like the room set up?
The room can be set up a number of different ways. Typically we set the room with round banquet tables with 6 or 8 adults. We also have a few oval tables which can seat 10 people. For corporate events we can seat conference style (square shape) , U shape with seating all around, theater style (no tables), and classroom style (long tables and chairs in rows). Tablecloths and napkins are included for all of our events. Chair covers and upgraded linen colors/ lengths are at the expense of the client. Some packages you will see do include upgraded décor.

    Sitting atop 15 pristine acres of river front property rest the historic River Stone Manor. The Manor home was discovered in the early 2000's. The secluded beauty of the property inspired the construction of the banquet hall which officially opened in 2003. Since then, the River Stone Manor has been one of the finest venues in the capital district for weddings, corporate events and social gatherings.
